5 of 5 OAL 1.155 eliminated misfeeds April 21, 2020
Reviewer: Thomas Salmon from Tahlequah, OK United States
I initially made the OAL 1.200, the same as for the plated round nose 200g, but got many misfeeds/jams. After reading James Clegg's review (9/21/17), I reduced OAL for these flat nose 200g bullets to 1.155. They all functioned flawlessly. My powder load was Titegroup 5.0g; velocity was 874 fps. I like flat nose, since they make nice clean holes in paper.

5 of 5 Zero Issues May 7, 2018
Reviewer: Chris from COLUMBIA, MO United States
I'm making these at 1.210 OAL. Used the plunk test on two Ed Brown Gov Models. In practice and testing, they worked perfectly.  Yesterday was my first IDPA; this is where quality and functionality count. I went through all seven stages with 100% reliability! I've used some other coated and lead bullets and have had more failure to go into battery than I thought possible. They were .452 and other brands. I'm sticking with these for now.

1 of 5 check bullet dia March 19, 2018
Reviewer: erik Bruflat from norfolk, NE United States
some were .450, had a few inconsistent dia. bullets, would flare/bell case the go to seat bullet and would slide down inside case.  will not use/order again, stick to hard cast lead.
might be of for some 45acp loads, but DO NOT USE FOR 45 LONG COLT.

4 of 5 They shoot well November 25, 2017
Reviewer: Matthew from WA. United States
They shoot well but were pretty picky on cartridge O.A.L setting for proper feeding. 1.155" was too short and jammed in my Springfield 1911 occasionally and 1.220" the rifling would grab the bullet and pull the bullet from the case once the slide was racked (which was HARD) I found 1.170" to work great in the 1911 and Springfield XDM 3.8 45

I found the 185 grain 45 flat points to be less picky and they also seemed a tad more accurate. Less cost and less recoil to boot.

4 of 5 Great bullets, but need to be loaded short September 21, 2017
Reviewer: James Clegg from Akron, OH United States
These 200 grain Flat Points are excellent bullets for both revolvers and automatics, but COLs posted by another reviewer are far too long for this bullet's profile; the nose of this bullet is very short, and to fully chamber in most .45 autos, these bullets need to be seated to a MAX of 1.155"; any longer, and you will likely find, as I did, that you are hitting the lands. Use loading data for a 200 grain jacketed bullet at 1.155" (I found this data in Lee's Modern Reloading, Second Edition) and you will be happy.

5 of 5 My bullet of choice June 7, 2016
Reviewer: CB from Wooster, OH United States
2016/06/07 (added chronograph data)
45 ACP mixed cases, this 200 grain plated flat point, 1.200 inch OAL, light taper crimp (just to remove case flare), S&B large pistol primers, and ONE of the following (I weigh rather than dip) powder charges:
Hodgdon TiteGroup 5.5 gr,   930 fps,   384 ft lb
Alliant Unique 6.4 gr,   902 fps,   361 ft lb
Alliant Blue Dot 10.3 gr,   890 fps,   352 ft lb

These function well in any pistol I've been able to try them in, including:
Rock Island 1911 FS Tactical (I used this pistol for chronograph data)
S&W 1911 FS stainless
Sig P227
S&W M&P 45

Not wimpy loads, but shoot nice clean holes tighter than my aging hands can hold.

What more could I ask?

5 of 5 I was not disappointed! January 17, 2014
Reviewer: Rick Lavoie from Buffalo, NY United States
I ordered 1000 of these hoping that it would be a well made bullet. I was very satisfied. Good looking, good quality control and they fed perfectly in my 3 1911s.
I'm ordering 3 more boxes right now.

5 of 5 Great Alternative to SWC for the 1911 December 9, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Portsmouth, RI United States
I have a Springfield 1911 with a very tight match barrel and chamber. I wasted a lot of time on the reloading bench trying to get a LSWC to feed reliably. I thought about going back to a traditional RN 230 or 200gr, but I was looking for something that would cut clean circular holes in paper for target shooting. The RNFP from Xtreme was the answer. If you are looking for more reliable feeding than SWC's but still want the nice clean target holes, give these a try!
