I bought 1500 of the 180 .40 HP. Sorted into 10 groups 1/10 or .1 of a grain. Brass sorted also, new Starline. Every charge was weighed to within .04 hundreds 0f a grain. I use a Harrells pistol measure. Some powders easier than others it usually only takes 2 or 3 throws to make the tolerance of less than .05 of a grain. You have to be patient. Now loading metallic for 45 years. They performed like world class cartridges. I used 4 different powders at 2 different weights. AA#5, VV3N38, Silhouette and Long Shot. All performed well but Long Shot came in last place. I used a long slide Tanfoglio. The human element is the hardest to eliminate. Firing from a bench sitting down, target at 10 meters. Not scientific I know but AA#5 seemed to be the best. I think VV3N38 is also a top choice. The cartridges are all balanced using doppler the Extreme Spread and Standard Deviation were phenomenal to say the least. I think I will drop the other bullet makers for pistol target. Have Fun

I bought a box of 500 and loaded 100. This is the first time I have reloaded in almost 40 years, so I was pretty careful and took my time. I found the bullets to be uniform and easy to work with. I have fired 20 without a problem. I will buy these again. Don’t want to run the risk of not having enough in stock.
