Xtreme bullets are some of the most consistent bullets I’ve used. 9mm, 40, and 45 are all great. The 230gr 45 RN works really well in 1911 with both styles of ramps as well as FNX-45. For some odd reason, it does not feed well in CZ97. I’ve tried different seating depths, no luck. The behavior is completely random. Factory ammo I used to test did not have any problems. Looking at bullet shape, Xtreme bullet olive is a little be more “sharperâ€Â. I have ordered a box of 200gr Xtreme’s as they look to have a more classic rounded look. Tens of thousands of 9mm and 40S&W Xtreme bullets of various weights and shapes and I have never had feed issues that were bullet shape related. The 230gr issue has me flummoxed.

I have been using these round nose tips for several years. Mostly I use them with CFE pistol at 6.3 grains. I shoot steel. Dueling tree, flapper targets and different shapes. These tips feed reliably in all my mags. I find them accurate, and uniform. I like the hollow base a little better but, these really do work well also. Slightly more reliable then the hollow point from Xtreme. I shoot hollow points at water bottles. Both always hit where you point them!
